Despite sometimes being branded (wrongfully) as too sweet, when made correctly the Whiskey Sour stands in the pantheon of all-time great whiskey cocktails. Particularly refreshing ones, where I think it's only legitimate challenger for supremacy is the Mint Julep. Additionally, we can thank the Whiskey Sour for inspiring countless variations, including the Gold Rush, New York Sour, Brown Derby and Ward Eight. New Recipe: The Moscow Mule
Vodka, despite being one of the most popular spirits in the world, doesn't have many classic cocktails to it's name, outside of vodka-based variations on other classics like the Vodka Gimlet, Vodka Martini and Caipiroska (Caipirinha with vodka).
