Spiced Cranberry Margarita

Happy Thanksgiving Eve!
I posted a new holiday themed recipe to the site for a Spiced Cranberry Margarita. We’re not reinventing the wheel here, this is just a Classic Margarita with some cinnamon syrup and unsweetened cranberry juice. If you’re saying to yourself, “isn’t this just your Port of Call with Tequila?”, well you’re right! It’s definitely a similar flavor profile (though tequila changes everything). One of the great lessons of cocktail creation is they don’t all have to come from new ideas, they just have be delicious.
In addition this new page, there are plenty of recipes to choose from in the Holiday section. But here are some quick ideas: If you’re making a batch of drinks for a group, I recommend the aforementioned Port of Call (in punch form), the Sparkling Pear and Rosemary Punch, or a batch of spiked mulled cider (which I actually prefer to serve cold). For whiskey lovers, might I suggest the cinnamon and maple-laced Harvest Sour, the hazelnut-infused Log Cabin, or a classic Applejack Old Fashioned. Or you could always get a jump on your Eggnog game.
In other Social Hour news, I’ve been quietly plugging away of the Liquor Guide section and have posted new pages for the Whiskey category overview, How American Whiskey is Made, American Whiskey History, and Bourbon and Rye brand recommendations. There’s a ton of info and there's more to come!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend all. I am thankful for you!
