While there have been heaps of new cocktails created over the course of the cocktail revival of the last 25 years. Only a handful are universally recognized as truly modern "classic" cocktails. The Bramble is one of them. It was created by the Dick Bradsell in London in the 1980s and is simply a gin sour over crushed ice with blackberry liqueur drizzled over the top. But on the delicious scale, it is off the charts.
