New Recipe Page: The Red & the Black
This is an original cocktail from the guy who got me into cocktails, Michael Cecconi, who is still a close friend. It's the best Margarita variation I've ever had: tequila, lime, strawberries, black pepper syrup with a pepper spiced rim. The syrup takes a little advance planning but is well worth the effort. Strawberries are in peak season right now in the northeast, so if you happen to get some from a local farmer's market cancel any other cocktail plans you might have made.
